everything you need to know about c4d creations... 

C4D Creations Limited was conceived in the autumn of 2007 and, whilst the gestation period was perhaps akin to that of a baby elephant, the company was finally born in January 2009.

We had been working on a room set visualisations with the usual "we really need this by Friday, and, despite knowing about it for a month, we know you guys can turn it around in 5 days!"   We needed models and we needed them fast.   Whilst there were (and still are) plenty of the 3D models we needed available on the net, and reasonably priced too, we found that once the models had been downloaded the vast majority were not C4D models, but rather 3DS or Maya files converted to C4D format. What was worse, they often didn't do what they said on the tin (or rather the file view). Don't get us wrong they saved us time, but had they been built in C4D from the start we might have actually gotten some sleep that week. Remember, we are creatives... so we think how creatives think. How you think.

We discussed the idea of creating our own model bank for a couple of months before we decided to take ourselves seriously and entered the second trimester. In a perfect world... what would we want from a 3D model built specifically for Cinema 4D that we had paid good money for?   

1.   High quality models with intelligent labelling for ease of use.
2.   Xpresso control sliders, where possible, to speed up positioning.
3.   Reasonably priced and balanced against quality and time-saved.
4.   Easy change, layered textures and bump maps to speed up changes.
5.   Full details of what does and doesn't come with the model.
6.   One of each model, very high quality and less searching duplicates.

We set out to fulfil these criteria and truly believe that we have achieved every single one. Our models are of the highest quality, with no unnecessary duplicates and we've tried to remove as much of the hard work as possible (for the purchaser), short of rendering the images for them.

We are currently working on a wide range of new and varied 3D model collections, probably as you are reading this, so if you can't find what you're looking for today, pop back soon.
